Nebraska is a great state, with unexpected treasures to discover. One is this Statehouse! There is surprising artwork and a Hall of Fame (which is actually a hall!) that’s so well done it makes me want to be famous in Nebraska!
But the most compelling thing about this Statehouse is the architecture. Gothic. Surprising to see something like this in the middle of the country. I tried to express in some of my pictures how creepy it was in parts of the Capitol building. We did this trip in 2011.
