What do we want to be doing what? In my dog picture above, Rhett is jumping OUT of the frame. For Rhett, the breakout will be his front part of his body. I&#8217;ll be using him for the purposes of this tutorial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Make a new layer beneath your photo layer. (You may have to double-click your photo layer in the Layers palette to make it a regular layer first.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What we will need next is to make a selection of the framed area and the breakout part of Rhett.  My framed area is a rectangle. I&#8217;ll begin by selecting this rectangle with the Rectangular Marquee. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p>Next, we need to add to this selection the breakout portion of our subject. Zoom in, choose a small brush, and get that edge as perfect as you want.
