In this fun tutorial you will make a design that may induce actual dizziness &#8212; one like mine to the right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this tutorial, you will be taking advantage of some of Photoshop&#8217;s mathematical algorithms. In other words, you will be making something that is very beautiful because of its mathematical precision, but you don&#8217;t have to do the math. PS does it&nbsp;<strong>for<\/strong>&nbsp;you! Make it the size you&#8217;re going to want. Square canvases work well for this. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Choose a color. I&#8217;ll use red, so that it&#8217;ll show up. Set your options as you wish. I&#8217;m going to use a 2-pixel hard round brush.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, in the Options Bar at the top right, click the Symmetry button. It&#8217;s a butterfly! Now, Brush in hand, click at the center of this. Release. Then Shift-click at the end of one of the segments. You should see lines radiating from the center like mine. Click the Symmetry button again and click Symmetry Off. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Choose the Elliptical Marquee tool <img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"26\" height=\"21\" class=\"wp-image-169\" style=\"width: 26px;\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/myjanee.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/ellipticalmarq.jpg?resize=26%2C21&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\">, which often hides under the Rectangular Marquee. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Starting in the very center of your image, slowly begin to drag out an ellipse. As you drag, press Alt and see what it does. Now press Shift too and watch your selection. This will make a circular selection that is centered where you started, in the center! Drag it just far enough that it encompasses the spokes, like a wheel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Edit &gt; Stroke. Choose a stroke width and click OK. Duplicate this layer, by dragging its thumbnail to the New Layer icon in the Layers Palette. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now to add some color! The Paint Bucket tool <img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"25\" height=\"21\" class=\"wp-image-186\" style=\"width: 25px;\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/myjanee.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/paintbucket.jpg?resize=25%2C21&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\"> acts as a Magic Wand combined with a fill. It often hangs out under the Gradient Tool. <img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"25\" height=\"21\" class=\"wp-image-173\" style=\"width: 25px;\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/myjanee.com\/new\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/gradient.jpg?resize=25%2C21&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Choose fetching colors and color your wedges. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p>9. Ok, I promised you fun! Filter &gt; Distort &gt; Twirl. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10. Duplicate this layer. Click your top layer to make sure it&#8217;s active.
