Cruise of the Eastern Caribbean St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands
Thursday, Jan. 9
We arrived at 7am at St. Thomas! We walked on the ship early. Then we had breakfast and then went into town. Bought a lovely 18K emerald and diamond ring. Just little baguette stones, but it is a pretty ring. :) We bought some stuff at Del Sol, a place where they sell stuff that changes from white to colors in the sun! I got a silver collar necklace and pendant and an little ankle bracelet and a thumb ring. We looked, but couldn't find Michael a decent PDA. Had a Pina colada at a place famous for them. It was delicious!

We took these pix in the streets of St Thomas. I stopped to write a postcard to our friend Dave, and we mailed it from that yellow post office.
Then we took the taxi back to the ship for another $3. I shot these pix from in the dock. Man.. this is such a pretty place.

I shot a few pix inside the ship. We got back for dinner. As usual, it was a delicious and beautiful feast! If it were not for the steps and walking, I'd have put on 10 pounds this week! The ship left St. Thomas at 6pm.
Here's the towel monkey our cabin steward left. :)
