June 2004 Trip to Ann Arbor, MI

Wednesday, 16 June, 2004
We awoke at about 8am and walked around the mall and up State Street. Then we came back and ate our cereal, milk, and juice.
Then we called Kelly and got directions to their new house. We went over there and, after lunch and some playtime, we took the two older children, Liam & Wren to the mall! The mall was a treat of rides, gum, and trying on clothes. We arrived back at Kelly & Dave's exhausted but happy.

The boys went to get food and we ladies talked and played till they returned. After more talk and quiet play, we made our way back to our hotel.

| Thursday, 17 June, 2004
The day began looking rainified. We walked close to the mall, thnking that if it should break loose raining, we would just duck inside. As luck would have it, though, we made it through the walk completely dry!
After breakfast and a shower, we headed over to the kids' house. This time, we went downtown, went for a long walk, had a yummy lunch at Potbellies, and shopped for some Michigan clothes for the kids.

| Dave met us and he and Michael grilled a beef tenderloin and hamburgers, as Kelly & I put together the vegetables. Delicious supper and a really great day!
